DELETE
Purge Enrollment
Deletes the session’s own enrolled face (Rekognition) and its dedup crosswalk entry — the GDPR/reset path for removing an applicant’s biometric enrollment. This acts on the session’s own enrollment only — there is no matched-session fallback. A DUPLICATE session that never enrolled its own face returns deleted: false. This call is idempotent.
A face exclusion lives on the enrollment record, so purging a session that was excluded via Exclude Face or Exclude Applicant also removes that face entry from the self-exclusion registry. Identity (document-number) entries are unaffected. To keep a person excluded after deleting their biometric data, make sure an identity entry exists first.
